Getting There from Seoul

From Seoul Station, take subway Line 1 to City Hall, transfer to Line 5 towards Gyeongbokgung Station, taking around 20 minutes. The palace is a short walk from Exit 5. Alternatively, a taxi might take 15 minutes for approximately 7,000 KRW. From Gimpo Airport, take the AREX to Seoul Station, then follow the same as above, totaling about 50 minutes.
